Etal Village Northumberland

Etal Village, Northumberland.

Etal is an attractive village situated between the Cheviot Hills and the North Sea coast. It includes the Black Bull pub which is the only pub in Britain which has a thatched roof. Also situated in the village is the St Mary the Virgin chapel built in 1856 and a light railway which runs to the working Heatherslaw mill on the river Till. The village is also known for Etal Castle.
